Rev. and Mrs. David Bulkley founded City Union Mission in 1924. The non-profit, Christian ministry has been passionate about sharing the gospel and attending to people’s physical, spiritual, and emotional needs ever since.

City Union Mission serves society in several ways. For example, the ministry has a building with 28 rooms and 142 beds for parents or single mothers who need support. In addition to sheltering them for some time, City Union Mission feeds them three meals daily and provides comfortable clothing. The ministry also offers medical services via on-site nurses, and professional tutors help educate children from 6 months to 6 years of age.

City Union Mission also caters to men in need via a 294-shelter bed facility, where occupants also receive food and primary medical care. In addition, the ministry assists men with finding full-time jobs.
